Probably one of the most beautiful sights in Nabburg.

On a hill stands the cemetery church of St. George, featuring a stork's nest depicted in Merian's engraving of 1644. The nest on the church has become, alongside the town's coat of arms, a second symbol of the town. The church tower is Romanesque, while the church itself is Baroque. The high altar, donated in 1759, and probably also the south side altar, were crafted by H.A. Croneiß. The path is a bit bumpy without a full suspension bike and you share it with pedestrians; but with mutual consideration, it's easily manageable.

Today, Schwarzenfeld Castle is a conference and recreation hotel with a beautiful park on the banks of the Naab.

The cyclist bus for the Bavarian-Bohemian Friendship Trail stops right at the train station. You should also take some time for Nabburg before you set off on the railway line cycle path or after you have completed it. The Gothic basilica of St. John the Baptist, the devil's shoe in the wall at the Obertor, the market square with the town hall with the Castillon fountain, the city wall with the Zwingerweg and the Mähntor are worth a visit.

The beautiful town of Nabburg with its city walls and the tower of St. John's Church can be seen from afar. A visit to the old town is worthwhile; there is a lovely walk along the wall, lovely cafes and beautifully decorated historic houses.
