Restaurant at the Count's, not at Cinti's

The pass itself doesn't stand out for anything special. Its last 2 km on the northern slope are beautiful, as it passes through the village of Aune. This pass is worth visiting for two reasons: first, because legend has it that Mr. Campagnolo invented the gear shift on a bicycle to reach its summit; second, because of the tradition of ringing the bell at the church at the foot of the road before reaching the village of Aune.

Too bad, now they don't wash bike wheels anymore ;-)

The church of Formegan, first dedicated to Santa Maria Nascente and today to San Rocco, most likely dates back to the 12th century. The last restoration works date back to a few years ago and concern the restoration of the internal structure, with the discovery of medieval frescoes including a beautiful "Last Supper".

Founded in Roman times, Fonzaso became famous in the Middle Ages for the skill of its swordsmiths. Sharpen your eyes carefully to admire the small oratory dedicated to San Michele which stands in a niche in the rock face behind the town.
