The parish church of Lorenzaga, a hamlet of Motta di Livenza, is dedicated to Pope Saint Sylvester. The structure, which has existed since the Middle Ages, has held the title of parish church and has held the honorary title of archpriest since 1677, with the current church consecrated in 1491.

He is a contemporary pope of the emperor Constantine and together they built the myth of the Constantinian church, which represents the power of heaven and earth in the figure of the Roman pontiff. The church is the matrix of all the churches in the area, a symbol of the importance of Lorenzaga in the first centuries of the Middle Ages
