Beautiful place before a stretch with sand

Like a true eagle's nest at an altitude of 1,800 m, Chamois is included in the 'Pearls of the Alps', a prize awarded to the most virtuous mountain communities for environmental sustainability and soft mobility. It is a place out of time where cars cannot drive: a quiet place suitable for families, couples and anyone willing to live according to the rhythm of an authentic environment. Chamois can only be reached on foot or by comfortable cable car. And the lucky ones can even attempt a landing at the small airfield in the mountains. WHAT TO SEE ● The city center, the hamlet of Corgnolaz, is a car-free area with wooden and stone buildings and small streets. ● Saint Pantaléon Parish Church: originally built in 1681, it was enlarged and transformed in 1838, adopting the current structure, with the bell tower facing east and the presbytery with an octagonal dome and vault facing west. This cycle path runs along the fresh waters of the Muson stream. You pedal on a compact dirt surface, with the exception of an asphalted stretch, in a suggestive panorama, immersing yourself in the quiet of countryside nature.
