Founded in 730-735, it belonged to the Benedictines from 762. In 899 the Hungarians ruined it, but the abbey rose again in the 10th century and was fortified. From 1441 to 1786 it was a commendation and returned to being an abbey in 1921. The abbey church took shape between the 12th and 13th centuries, to be substantially restructured in the 15th century; in the 20th century it underwent a series of restorations (1905-1914, 1932 and 1981). The vestibule is completely frescoed with the Inferno Cycle, the Paradise Cycle and the San Michele Cycle, works dating back to around 1450 and which are attributed to the workshop of Antonio da Firenze. From the vestibule you pass into the atrium, with three Romanesque naves, characterized by a massive 15th-century ceiling and 13th-century frescoes. Wikipedia

The Bosco delle Lame is the most beautiful and significant example of a lowland forest in Eastern Veneto. It occupies an area of approximately 33 hectares and includes a vast reclamation agricultural area (in which an important afforestation project was carried out between 1997 and 1999) and a more recent 8 hectare wetland. Tall maples, ash trees, hornbeams, alders, white and black poplars make those who visit this forest forget the fact that they are among one of the largest agricultural areas in the Veneto. Here it is not uncommon to spot squirrels, hares, foxes, pheasants, marsh harriers, swans and roe deer. Furthermore, there are as many as 300 species that nest in this area, considered one of the most important repopulation areas in the Veneto. An important European cycle route passes through the forest, the E8, which runs from Munich to Venice. In 2021, the Municipality of Concordia Sagittaria (VE), thanks to the "Eastern Venice: the widespread forest" project, started the process for a massive expansion of the forest near Sindacale with a further 3 hectares and 5,000 plants.

The swing bridge of Bevazzana, near the Conca of the same name, is a pedestrian and cycle crossing on the Tagliamento Canal, part of the Idrovia Litoranea Veneta, a navigable waterway that connects Venice with Grado. These are the closing times for boats to allow pedestrian and cycle passage: From November 16 to February 28 08:00-10:00, 12:00-15:00, 17:00-19:00 From March 01 to April 30 08:00-10:00, 13:00-15:00, 17:00-19:00 From May 01 to September 15 08:00-10:00, 13:00-14:00, 18:00-19:00 From September 16 to November 15 08:00-10:00, 13:00-15:00, 18:00-19:00

The times are calculated very generously, so if you drove very comfortably, the information might be correct. Route has lots of potholes but scenic nice.

Nice quaint place to visit, both on foot and by bike, especially with children. Revisiting the place where the fishermen lived and their fishing techniques.

The huts are buildings that have always been used by the fishermen of the area. Built of reeds and wood, they have a "V" shape and sloping roofs.
