The asphalted road runs alongside lagoon banks and fishing valleys, ecosystems incredibly rich in biodiversity with the possibility of observing various species of birds - including flamingos. The Via delle Valli di Rosolina ends when it connects to the bank road of the Po di Levante which leads to Albarella. For those who want to make a small detour on the return road, they can, instead of heading towards Albarella, turn right, towards S.S.Romea and after a few kilometres, immediately after the Agriturismo San Gaetano, turn right, into Via Moceniga, road that reconnects to Via delle Valli. The small church of Moceniga - Chiesa Beata Vergine della Concezione - is beautiful, with a small rest area nearby.
TO CHECK: in summer a ferry should be operational which from the left bank of the Po di Levante (Albarella bank, so to speak) allows you to cross the river, thus allowing you to resume cycling starting from the beautiful seaside village of Porto Levante, reaching: Option A) Boccasette - Option B) Porto Viro.
Via delle Valli di Porto Levante: starting from the seaside village of Porto Levante, and continuing along the fishing valleys, and then the Po di Maistra, you can reach:
Option A) Boccasette (crossing the bridge in boats) directions at Scannarello - Option B) Porto Viro - pedaling on the Po di Venezia.

Made of steel, it is approximately 16 meters high. As you go up, there is an observation platform at the top, an excellent point for admiring breathtaking views and taking wonderful photos at sunset.
Once you get to the top you can admire the precise point where the river meets the sea.
On one side the Adige acts as a natural border between Isola Verde (a hamlet of the municipality of Chioggia) and Rosolina Mare and on the other the beach begins, which invites you to a beautiful coastal walk for nature lovers.
At the base of the structure, wooden tables and benches have been placed on which you can have picnics.

This historic bridge spans the Po di Maistra, connecting Boccasette to the island of Ca' Venier. Crossing is restricted to pedestrians, bicycles, and hand-propelled motorcycles. The bridge was restored and reopened in recent years. It is generally open between 8:00 a.m. and 8:00 p.m., but opening hours and times vary depending on flooding and are not always signposted. Unfortunately, it's difficult to find up-to-date information online. Before arriving, it's advisable to check locally and plan an alternative if the bridge is closed.

This trail immerses you in the lagoon landscape of the Po Delta, among embankments, canals, salt marshes, and fish farms. Birdlife is frequently spotted along the route, particularly flamingos, herons, and other species typical of wetlands. It runs through an open and quiet environment, with long stretches of sparse shade: bring plenty of water and protect yourself from mosquitoes, especially in the evening.

I suggest you get good information before reaching the mobile bridge as it can sometimes be closed and the only alternative is to go back. It happened to us with the children and we had to change the itinerary. We found it closed due to the flooding of the Po

Check before arriving whether it is open or not, it is not indicated beforehand. It happened to me that I got there (they told me it was open) and found it unusable due to the flooding of the Po. I had the farmhouse only 2 km from there... but with the bridge closed I had to travel 14 km more... with the bags, against the wind at the end of the day, it wasn't exactly pleasant. :(
