Great place very interesting

Where the nobility once ruled, the focus today is on wood products. Near the confluence of the Black and White Sulm rivers, close to the Dietmannsdorf train station, lies Welsberg Castle, originally a medieval fortified structure. Today privately owned, only a small portion of the property is occupied. Currently, there are plans for possible uses, such as a café, restaurant, seminar rooms, etc.

A well-maintained campsite with a large number of long-term campers. The swimming pond is clean and equipped with an entrance, a lake, and a jetty. A cold shower is available. Cakes and delicious homemade stone-baked pizza are available in the pavilion.

The Greith House has had a permanent place in the cultural scene since its opening in 2000. You might think it's a village culture hub. But that's not the case! Renowned artists such as Hermann Nitsch, Alfred Hrdlicka, Oswald Oberhuber, Hans Staudacher, and Daniel Spoerri have performed here in St. Ulrich im Greith. The building's construction is interesting. On the street side, you can see the school, and on the back, there's space for cultural activities.

This section of the Sulm Cycle Path is particularly beautiful. The bench by the dam invites you to take a break and enjoy the view. In summer, the easy access to the water also makes it a great place to cool off.
