The Palladian Basilica is the symbolic building of Vicenza. Known for the Serliane Loggia, designed by the great architect Andrea Palladio, which surrounds the medieval Palazzo della Ragione, it was included in the list of World Heritage Sites by UNESCO in 1994. In reality, nothing remains of the castle, but the notable medieval walls that surrounded it remain: destroyed and rebuilt several times over the centuries, they are 1 km long; on the top of the hill, the keep which is still present watched over the entire town.
