The highest point of the ski area. Here you'll find a rustic summit cross, which makes for a beautiful photo opportunity. The panoramic view is also unparalleled. Be sure to set aside some time for taking photos.

In a spiritual impulse by Dr. Tobias Schwaderlapp (diocesan youth pastor in the Archdiocese of Cologne), he invited us to "rediscover this: quiet rest with God." I would like to briefly share a central passage from his reflection with the hiker lingering before this small sacred monument: + "One thought has become particularly important to me: praying doesn't always mean having to use many words. Praying can also simply mean resting with God. I sit down, become still (sometimes that takes time!) – and am simply there. Trusting that God is also there. That he sees me, is interested in me, understands me, and surrounds me." (T. Schwaderlapp)

Fantastic view

07/2024: Travel by car to Murauer Hut. You should be there early enough to get a spot, otherwise try a little further down at the hotel. It's 6.5km and 400m of elevation to the Frauenalpe there and back. It's easy to walk, good path. No problem with a dog either. Wonderful panorama at the top, sloping steeply to the southeast. At the end you can stop at the Murauer Hut and start the way back.

You can also spend the night in the hut. It is usually open from the beginning of May to the end of October and from the beginning of December to the end of March.

Somewhat hidden behind the glass Eagle is the summit cross.

The hut is located just below the summit cross and is a self-catering hut. There is no catering here!
