German Wind Power Museum - Hands-on Wind Power Here you can gain an interesting insight into the history of wind turbines and climate change. The open-air museum is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. The grounds are automatically illuminated upon entry at night, allowing you to read the self-explanatory display panels and information posted on the walls. QR codes are also available for further information about the exhibits. Two outdoor touchscreen monitors can also be operated by touch at any time. Guided tours are available Monday to Friday between 10:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m., by prior appointment. Other dates are available by arrangement. The Destel windmill was built at the beginning of the 19th century. It's an octagonal, shingled, half-timbered building with a rubble stone basement. The linden trees surrounding the mill are particularly notable.

A late Gothic hall church, expanded in 1893. The west tower is Romanesque in the basement, and the upper floor dates from 1868.
