이 수도원은 1142년 스폴레토 공작이자 안코나 후작인 Guarnerio II에 의해 설립되었으며, 아마도 1098년에 이미 존재했던 베네딕토회 수도원 자리에 세워졌고 같은 해에 원장 Ugo가 이끄는 Chiaravalle Milanese 수도원에 의해 거주지가 되었습니다.

The routes wind along various types of roads, in any case the pedaling is easy and requires only modest training then, as happens to me, when you can't do it, you get off for a while....😂

Monte San Pietrangeli is a medieval village founded around the year 1080 by a group of Benedictine monks from Ferentillo (Valnerina)

To be honest I didn't particularly like it, it will probably also be due to the fact that, having visited many medieval villages in the area, the comparison automatically comes into play... It is not known precisely to which year, before the birth of Christ, the origins of the Turris Patritia date back, but archaeological finds, pertaining to the grave goods of some Picene tombs from the 7th–6th century. BC, found in March 1934 in the San Patrizio area, confirm the thesis of its antiquity.

I honestly expected more. The town develops around the old original medieval nucleus; of its history we know for sure that the first nucleus was founded in 1080 by Benedictine monks from Ferentillo (Terni) who dedicated it to St. Peter.
