The feast day for this occasion – and at the same time the patronal feast of this church – which in the Catholic liturgy is called in full: “Solemnity of the Immaculate Conception of the Blessed Virgin Mary” is celebrated annually on December 8th.

Casalicchio is a small village of houses that rises near the Abbadia dei S.S. Vincent and Anastasius. Both places give a sense of peace and it is understandable why the monks had built their house here. Unfortunately, the signs of aging and the 2016 earthquake are evident.
