Square overlooked by the legendary Pergolesi theatre

Very short stretch, but it avoids the main road of the village

A green project created by the Locioni company that respects and enhances the surrounding environment. The path runs alongside the river and can be traveled on foot or by bicycle. Completely flat and accessible to everyone, even with children. Large and convenient parking near the path. In summer, a great place for a bit of cool.

Very nice village. Meeting point for many cyclists, hikers, climbers and motorcyclists. The square with the pine tree where the inhabitants meet after lunch or dinner for a chat, perhaps accompanied by a glass. At the bar you can find food to calm the hunger after sports and an excellent coffee. Narrow and picturesque alleys. More populated in summer but also in winter there is life. I love this place.

It is a gate of the medieval city wall which still retains the elements characterizing the defense system: towers of various shapes (square, polygonal, cylindrical), 4 access doors, curtains crowned with arches and corbels and slits.

In the square there is the Pergolesi theatre, a historic Marche theater named after Giovanni Battista Pergolesi, composer, organist and violinist born in Jesi.
