It seemed like a nice shortcut to Tiggiano, but the road is steep and (due to the green moss) too slippery to go up or down. After a short stretch, the road turns into a path, which I preferred to continue on foot. So, nice, but not suitable for cycling.

A hamlet of the municipality of Tricase, in the Lecce area, Tricase Porto is located in Lower Salento and has about 250 inhabitants. Here the coast, low and rocky, is dotted with caves: in one of these there is a port dating back to the 15th century, very suggestive.
