Quiet walk, wonderful place, then going down there is the large plain of Castelluccio

The outward route is surprisingly paved, and up to the viewpoint, it's even accessible with a stroller. The return route on the other side of the hill is less busy and therefore also very beautiful.

The Refuge is located along the path that goes up to Lago dell'Orso (now no longer visible). Unfortunately it is not well maintained, perhaps used by shepherds passing through those places. Near the Refuge you can admire a native cultivation of Genziana.

Leaving the path you reach the Belvedere refuge and the wooden walkway that leads to a panoramic platform. The view extends from Mount Vettore to the Laga mountains up to the Adriatic coast. From the Colle delle Cese refuge it is an easy excursion suitable for families. In summer the path is sunny but it is worth following it.
