Special place and for us Dutch very special because this tomb shows similarities with the dolmens in Drenthe (Netherlands). In addition, it is a very beautiful piece of nature where this tomb is located. From the parking lot it is only a short walk without challenges and recommended for everyone!

The very tall sequoias that inhabit the mountain in the territory of Tempio Pausania are truly majestic monumental trees that reach 40 meters in height. Planted at the beginning of the last century, they have long guarded the Vallicciola forest; a green area of incomparable beauty, a well-kept and maintained evergreen forest.

Lake Coghinas is an artificial lake that collects water from the Rio Mannu and the river of the same name. It was built in 1927 under Mussolini, to build a hydroelectric power station. The dam is 185 meters long and 58 meters high. On the eastern bank of the gorge you can see an Art Nouveau villa that housed the director of the plant, which was then abandoned.
