A very well-preserved watchtower with a fantastic view. The path to it and the climb up the irregular steps are worth it.

A walk through the pretty and quiet Tempio Pausania is highly recommended.

The view is worth seeing and the tower is very impressive. We didn't find an entrance.

Spiaggia di Cala li Cossi - a very beautiful, hidden beach with slightly coarser sand. The path to the beach itself is a highlight. You have to go up and down a few steps before you reach the beach after about 10 minutes. We were here in the off season and it was lonely, but it sure gets busy in the summer.

The tower of the Isola Rossa, often mistakenly called the Aragonese Tower, was built between 1578 and 1595 to protect the territory from Saracen pirates. Subsequently, when the defensive needs no longer existed, the structure continued to be used to counter the clandestine trafficking that took place between Sardinia and nearby Corsica. The view from the tower is magnificent. From here a path leads to La Marinedda beach.

The Vignola tower, built in 1605, is part of the complex of fortified structures which, from the early Middle Ages until the mid-nineteenth century, constituted the defensive, sighting and communication system of the coastal strip of Sardinia. The tower is located on a promontory between the tip of Li Francesi and the hamlet of Vignola, and was in visual contact with the tower of Santa Reparata. The tower offers a magnificent panoramic view of the beach and the surrounding juniper forest.

The red porphyry rock makes the Canneddi Cape something special: when the light is right, the red rock with the emerald-colored, clear water is a real eye-catcher and makes the cameras glow right along. Of course there are beautiful bathing bays and unusual rock formations here, but this time in red tones. If you can tolerate a bit of crawling, you can enjoy a “canyon” in the more rugged areas.
