This museum displays a prehistoric dwelling, along with a few everyday objects from the more recent past. Admission is 3 euros, as of 2025.

The "house in the rock", an extraordinary pre-Nuragic architecture 'lived' until the 20th century, is in the 'heart' of a village in Anglona, in the north-west of Sardinia. It is the largest domu de Janas excavated to date.

For less enthusiastic walkers, there is also a road that leads almost up to the top with spacious parking.

The Castel Doria can be reached on a well-marked path starting at the thermal hotel.

Lake Coghinas is an artificial lake that collects water from the Rio Mannu and the river of the same name. It was built in 1927 under Mussolini, to build a hydroelectric power station. The dam is 185 meters long and 58 meters high. On the eastern bank of the gorge you can see an Art Nouveau villa that housed the director of the plant, which was then abandoned.

Very quiet street through sparsely populated area with really little traffic. Very nice racing bike course. Only a few options for refilling the drinking bottles on the go. There is not a single grocery store between Tempio Pausiana and Viddalba. Tip: In the street café in Bortigiadas, a 1.5 l bottle of chilled mineral water (still) costs only € 1 (August 2020).

The Domus de Janas by Sedini, called "Sa Rocca", probably date from the 4th and 3rd millennium BC. The limestone rock was originally used as a burial site, then as a prison and finally as a residential building. Guided tours are offered here today.
