Great stairs, beautiful place!

Compared to the pretty historic center of Castelsardo, this square somehow seems too modern and cool. But if you want to go up to the old town, there is almost no way around it.

From here you have a really great view.

Lu Bagnu is one of the rare sandy portions of the Castellano coast, which is mostly characterized by high red trachyte cliffs. Lu Bagnu beach, located about two and a half kilometers from Castelsardo, offers suggestive scenery and a pleasant oasis of tranquility.

Castelsardo is a fascinating medieval village. Visiting the historic center under the fortress is certainly worth it, even if the climb up the stairs can be a bit tiring. The town, traditionally fishermen, is known for the art of basket weaving. From here you can enjoy a beautiful view of the hamlet at the top of the hill in the distance.
