A beautiful refuge nestled in the mountains. I recommend booking in advance to secure a spot, even just for lunch. The trail is steep; I recommend appropriate equipment, especially footwear.

Rifugio Orto di Donna, closed all year round except for the summer months. Always better to call and ask for precise information. A 5 minute walk from the refuge is the Bivacco K2 always open, with a stove and 4 beds with mattresses.
