Today's outing took us to Laureana di Borrello, a small town in the Piana di Gioia Tauro whose name, according to an ancient popular belief, derives from the presence of a giant laurel.
The railway site is still recognizable for long stretches, thanks also to the presence of bridges and tunnels; in inhabited centers it has often been transformed into ordinary streets or canceled by urban development.
