Oak wood adjacent to the town of Farnetta, formerly a fiefdom of Todi today a fraction of the municipality of Montecastrilli. The village belonging to the "Terre Arnolfe" which over the centuries has maintained the characteristics of a small rural village surrounded by Farnia woods, a rare quality of oak called "Quercus Frainetto". The name of the small village seems to derive from this tree species belonging to the fagaceae family and the frainetto wood is an excellent shelter, for animals and walkers, who ask for a little shelter from the scorching sun that falls on the numerous surrounding agricultural fields. .
