The old rectory in Schapen was built in 1739. Today it serves as a meeting place, educational center, and exhibition space. In addition to the former rectory, the grounds include a former brewery (now used for weddings), a blacksmith's shop built in 2012, and a bakehouse from 2020 where "Schapen Bishop's Bread" is baked. Right next door is the community park with a pond, paths, seating, a pétanque court, and a small playground. It's a place that invites visitors to linger.
