Magic nightride! Thnx for sharing this route. I started this ride anti clockwise 20.30hr in late June. Next to the great views over the lake at sunset it started to get dark when passing Liciano Niccone (So bring some good light with you) From there the last climb trough the forrest was pure magical. At both sides of the road the forest was full of fireflies. Quit some stunning experience!

In Passignano del Trasimeno the cycle path is embellished by the open landscape on the lake, the possibility of having a break in one of the lakeside bars, and the panoramic points.

Pleasant road, in the circumnavigation of Trasimeno, between Puntabella and Tuoro

Extremely suggestive panoramic point, when passing through the Tuoro area, in the direction of Cortona or towards Castiglione del Lago

A road that connects Cortona with Siena, in fair conditions and with limited traffic, from which you can admire the typical Umbrian-Tuscan landscapes, which runs along various villages such as Foiano della Chiana, Bettolle and Montepulciano

Discovering the Umbrian countryside

Probably the most panoramic point of Trasimeno. The route from the lake towards Magione is a challenging climb, not long but with interesting slopes. The route from Magione - Montecolognola towards the lake is a spectacular descent from which it seems to literally dive into Trasimeno. The islands, the villages, the hills around enchant you in a warm embrace. Unmissable!
