Located at 1609 meters, on one of the highest peaks of the Jura, the hotel's views of the plateau, the Alps and the Three Lakes are breathtaking. Sit on the terrace or in the dining room to refuel after a walk in the Chasseral Regional Park. The hotel is easily accessible by bus, car or on foot, along one of the magnificent hiking trails.

From the village of "Les Savagnières dessous" you have to tackle another 6.3km with 400m of elevation before you reach the top of the pass. From there it is another 100m of elevation to the summit. The climb is easy to ride, top asphalt, leisurely gradient of 5-8%, very moderate.

If you don't want to take the dead-end road to Chasseral, you should at least enjoy the view of Biel and Lake Biel from the top and last bend. You can also see the Bernese Alps in the distance.

Short section up the remaining 100m to the Chasseral. On the way back, the Hotel de Chasseral invites you to take a coffee break with a fantastic view. Opening times Wednesday-Sunday!

A beautiful view of the Chasseral and its antenna on one side, gravel tracks as far as the eye can see on the other. An ideal place to get lost uphill and downhill, in the middle of sublime landscapes.

If you walk down the ridge from the tower to the east in April, you will inevitably enjoy the large fields of daffodils around Les Prés-d'Orvin. Beautiful combination 👍🏻
