Lovely route on the seafront between Riccione and Misano Adriatico. Next to the sea, the beach volleyball courts, and the run is linear and safe. Beautiful.

During the archaeological excavations carried out between 1989 and 1991 by the Emilia Romagna Archaeological Heritage Superintendency under the northern arch, interesting discoveries were made about the collapse of several large stones that once formed the top of the bridge, on the side of the Borgo San Giuliano district. The stone blocks were found randomly piled together at different depths, starting about seven meters below the intrados of the arch, and covered with a thick layer of gravel mixed with gray alluvial sand. The sand became more evident from the beginning of the plain on which the wall stones were built. Some of the stones were originally positioned beneath the serrated moulding of the northern flank wall, built using the opus quadratum technique when it was still visible, and others included sections of cornices, moldings, parapet stones and trachyte stone slabs used to pave the initial stretch of the Via Aemilia near the bridge.

The port of Riccione is a lively point of reference for the city, located a few steps from the center and the beach. In addition to welcoming fishing boats and pleasure boats, the port is surrounded by restaurants, bars and clubs that make it a lively and pleasant area for walks along the seafront.
