Radar station for air traffic management. At 1003 m above sea level it is also an excellent viewpoint for beautiful landscapes.

Unsuitable for cycle touring or gravel, especially if you have a lot of stony and sandy sections, I would say as a MTB you can definitely take a bath in complete peace 😆

Viewpoint

The Tower of San Giovanni is a magnificent Saracen tower overlooking the sea. The tower itself is similar to many others in Sardinia. It's a great vantage point for taking pictures. If you look carefully to the right, you can see the Tower of Santa Lucia in the distance, while on the left it is easy to spot the Tower of the Castello della Fava di Posada. In the past, these towers were used to spot enemy ships, especially pirates, and raise the alarm. Some of these towers are on top of the cliffs and it takes a bit of walking to get there, but this one is very easy to reach.

If you have time, stop and take a look at the largest and most complex nuraghe in Sardinia! It almost looks like a castle in size.

Difficult to find a place to pitch in this area. This olive grove offers a decent place to pitch for the night. Please set up your tent late, pack up early and leave no trace.
