The cycle path that connects Bricherasio to Barge, on the route of the old disused railway, is wonderful. The signage, obviously, is in Luserna stone, typical of the area (Barge and Bagnolo above all). Until the end of 2022 there was an unpaved stretch in the municipality of Bibiana, which however was completed and paved in time for the 2023 season: the route is therefore all paved from Bricherasio to Barge.

Suddenly, in the middle of the Cuneo countryside, a lighthouse. Certainly effective. Impossible not to notice it from the distance, wherever you are coming from.

This beautiful cycle path is created from the old Bricherasio-Barge railway. It is currently completely asphalted, and offers beautiful views.

Old station of the Bricherasio-Barge railway, abandoned but still in good condition on the outside. In front, picnic area with tables, benches, and water point. -- UPDATE JULY 2025: the station has been restored, and now it is a marvel. Looking towards Bricherasio it seems like being in a spaghetti western. All that's missing is Lee Van Cleef saying "this train *stops* in Bagnolo Piemonte".

After a short stretch of singletrack, the signs of the Via della Pietra indicate the approach to the area of Bagnolo Piemonte.
