Small sanctuary a short distance from Villafranca Piemonte, immersed in the countryside and reached by several secondary roads with little traffic. Worth the detour.

The ancient village of Saluzzo is gorgeous. Narrow cobbled streets between historic buildings lead up to Castilla, the fortress/castle that towers over the city, a bit like the Spielberg towers over Brno (ironically). A must visit.
