From the top of the dam you can see down either side of Lopez Lake and Lopez Canyon. Rather unusually, the dam on Arroyo Grande Creek has a grassy face and a road that switchbacks up it from the creek below.

Renowned for its challenging ascents, this locale features steep inclines. However, nestled within lies a captivating spot offering enchanting vistas of the mountains and the lake. It is beautifully green and lush here.

This winery is in a fantastic location with beautifully landscaped gardens, a lovely outdoor patio and a large grassy area where visitors are welcome to bring a picnic lunch and unwind beneath the trees. After a long ride, it’s an ideal spot to enjoy a relaxing wine-tasting session and enjoy the views.

The views of Lake Lopez are stunning from this elevated road. You can also see the marina below. Take care of other road users whilst admiring the views.

The views from the bridge are fantastic looking both way, where you can see the lake and river feeding into it. Keep your eye out for people fishing on the shores too.

Access to Rancho Sisquoc Winery is past an interesting historic cemetery with a chapel dedicated to San Ramon
