Excerpt from our experience 'Summit with Monte Rosa in Algana': Like the many waterfalls, we plunge into the depths to Rifugio Pastore. A nice meeting place where adventurers start or arrive. Not only are drinking bottles filled here, but adventurous spirits are also richly inspired by wild stories. Small locks in combination of large amber colored ones with a finished white collar find their way to dry lips. The stories become more and more impressive. Unfortunately time has not taken a break and has continued to move forward. You can't stop time, especially not the last shuttle bus. Attending this youthful, brash fun caused us to miss the last shuttle bus. In the Alagna valley, the street lamps are turned on and locals are ready for the late evening news. The red lantern is lit and along a steep, sobering evening walk through the deeply eroded riverbed we arrive back at the empty parking lot in Wold. There are only two of us standing here alone.
