From the start of the Possette Pass, it takes almost an hour to reach Cima del Teggiolo, home to a small bivouac built by Mainetti for passing hikers. The trail from here on is poorly marked, and it's very easy to delay your ascent to the summit. Watch out for cracks in the ground; they're easy to trip over, and in the last stretch before reaching the bivouac, I recommend zigzagging to conserve energy (it takes a little longer, but at least it's less tiring). The bivouac is very small, and can only accommodate two people. There are no blankets or pillows inside. There is a small stove, some provisions, and, if you're lucky, even some food kindly left by other hikers.
