The Parish Church of the Blessed Virgin of the Assumption in Sardigliano (AL), located in the Diocese of Tortona, has ancient origins, with evidence of an oratory dating back to the 13th century, linked to the parish church of Cassano. Manuel Giacometti is a contemporary artist born in 1976 in Treviso, with a strong passion for Street Art, especially for the world of graffiti, where he took his first steps as a writer. After a decade in writing, he decided to focus on the production of works for the public, achieving great success thanks to his participation in numerous artistic events and art fairs. Giacometti is known for his versatility, ranging from portraits of famous people and ordinary people, to murals and urban redevelopment works. Among his most recent projects, he participated in the Mural International Fest in Tirana and created a mural to commemorate the 30th anniversary of the death of Falcone and Borsellino. His works aim to capture not only the image of a subject, but also its emotional and personal essence. One of his most original projects is the "Advent Calendar", an artistic treasure hunt that takes place every year in the province of Treviso. During the month of December, Giacometti hides one of his works in different locations every day, and participants must find the work by following clues received on Telegram. The artist continues to be active in the national and international art scene, and his creations range from portrait collections, street art works and public art projects.
