On the high trail above Wallgau, there are numerous information boards about Magdalena Neuner. There are also beautiful views of Wallgau and towards Mittenwald.

A delicious place to stop for a bite to eat. From the terrace, you have a wonderful view of Wallgau. There's a parking lot on the B11 Mittenwald-Kochel highway. From there, it's about a 20-minute walk to the hut. There's a short, steep climb.

Closed Monday and Tuesday. Beautiful view and witty signs: "Bring your own food and drinks is welcome, but not here, only in distant locations."
