The tower stands out at the highest point of the town, inside a park. It was built in the 15th century and offers a view of Monferrato that is unrivaled in its breadth.

Built in Romanesque-Gothic style around the middle of the 15th century, the church of S. Maria Nuova was built on the pre-existing Parish Church of San Pietro (which became the Crypt of San Valerio, still open to visitors). The façade retains its original style, with a central Baroque portal from 1750 and a 37-meter-high bell tower from the late 19th century.

Ancient parish church renovated and unfortunately closed, but very beautiful to look at as it appears unexpectedly in the middle of fields and farmhouses, it is not close to inhabited centers and can be reached by walking along beautiful paths among the Monferrato hills.
