Popular legends linked to its origin and age gather around the Rovere di Tiglieto. In fact, it was said that it had been planted by Napoleon's troops during the Italian Campaign. To the north of the town, on the borders between Lerma, Silvano and Castelletto d'Orba, remain the ruins of the Torre dell'Albarola.
