Wikipedia: Victimulae (or Victumulae), or more commonly Victimula, is a Roman-era settlement (probably already developed in pre-Roman times) located in Piedmont, in the southwest of the Biella area, not far from Lake Viverone. More precisely, it is believed to have been located on the slopes of the Serra Morenica d'Ivrea near the Bessa plateau.

Worth visiting (with a camera!!) especially from late October to late November for the spectacular foliage, as well as for the wonderful blooms from April to May.

For the foliage, go in November and early December... a guaranteed spectacle.

Inside the Burcina-Felice Piacenza park nature reserve, often called Burcina park for short, a protected natural area of 57 hectares in extension, there is this splendid dirt road immersed in nature and among the trees. Cycling or walking here is truly wonderful!
