The two polar bears in Noisiel Park were brought back from the polar seas by Henri Menier in 1890. Johansey, the male, died in 1915 and Freya, the female, in 1917. The cage, which can still be seen, is one of the hidden curiosities in Noisiel Park.

The origins of this imposing wayside cross are said to date back to the 17th century. Since then, it has been destroyed several times – including during the French Revolution – but has been rebuilt time and again. The crossing, the intersection of the cross's longitudinal and transverse beams, is designed as a closed circle, and the transverse beam bears the inscription "Croix de Calvaire." The name refers to Calvary, commemorating the crucifixion of Jesus Christ on Golgotha (this Aramaic word, like the Latin word "calvaire," means "place of skulls") near Jerusalem.

Iron pedestrian footbridge built in 1893-1894 to facilitate traffic between Le Perreux and Bry-sur-Marne. The construction of the Bry Footbridge by the Société de construction de Levallois-Perret, a former company of Gustave Eiffel, aimed to replace a missing ferry and to allow Bry residents access to the Nogent tramway. It required the installation of 42 piles driven to a depth of 10 m.

The Fonseranes lock staircase (French: Échelle d’Écluses de Fonseranes, also 9 Écluses de Fonseranes) is a lock staircase on the Canal du Midi. It is located in the municipality of the French city of Béziers in the Hérault department in the Occitanie region. With six chambers, it overcomes a height difference of 13.60 meters.[1] The lock staircase is classified as a monument historique and is one of the most visited sights in the city.
