The church of S. Maria di Meoglio, today known as the Sanctuary of the Madonna della Cella, is located in the middle of the woods and is the center of the ancient settlement of Meoglio. The municipality and the city are located on the historic route of the Via Francigena, a Canavese variant, which comes from Bollengo and then heads towards Piverone. The bell tower - Torre Dell'Orologio - attracts the most spectators.
