I passed by there on my "Linden Alley" tour on July 31, 2025. The teahouse glows so beautifully in the sun. The three attached pictures show the linden avenue after the linden trees were trimmed. It took a long time for the linden trees to look beautiful again.

Harald Piening, a farrier from Seester, has invested many hours of work and spent a lot of time welding countless old horseshoes together. The result is very special works of art that attract the attention of passers-by. For over 40 years, the master blacksmith has been working iron in his workshop over the fire of his forge, which can reach temperatures of up to 1,400°C. He builds farm gates, ship accessories and rose arches and shoes the hooves of sport and leisure horses with new horseshoes. The former poorhouse from 1835 dates back to a foundation by the noble von Ahlefeldt family in 1645. Between 1952 and 1954, the building was converted to be used as a village school. An annex was added. In 1974, school operations in Seestermühe were discontinued. Today, the building is owned by the municipality and serves as a community center and kindergarten. The building is a three-wing, single-storey brick structure.
