The town lies 28 kilometers southwest of the provincial capital, Savona, and about 70 kilometers southwest of Genoa. The Piazza district is the vibrant heart of the town, known for the Piazza Sant’Agostino with its charming 17th-century church, which was carefully restored after war damage.
