Great place to fill your water bottle

This is the highest point in the plateau between Pauli Gerrei (San Niccolo) and S.Andrea Frius. It is a good road and usually very quiet. A rewarding a sense of achievement in reaching the plateau. I prefer to reach it from Pauli Gerrei, so that I can enjoy going downhill all the way to S.Andrea Frius.

Stretch of dirt road that from "Genn'e Funtana" leads directly to Sinnai with a very fast descent. The road is stony and up and down, panoramic views invite you to slow down to avoid dangerous distractions.

On the road to the springs from Dolianova "Sa Mitza de su Tiriaxiu" is the first you will come across. The water comes from the nearby mountains but is scarce due to the drought.

Strada Monte Genis which, initially paved, becomes a dirt road with very steep sections with double-digit gradients. However, the road surface is good and wide enough.

Amazing place for lunch, or to shelter from the wind, or to fill up on water, or to do it all!
