Between Arbus and Fiuminimaggiore, the Bidderdi Pass is a famous climb in the province of South Sardinia, including the territories of the former provinces of Carbonia-Iglesias and Medio Campidano. As you climb it, you might notice some specimens of Arbus black sheep, a native sheep species.

Just south of Oristano, in the municipality of Santa Giusta, this pond is a large wetland not far from the waters of the Gulf of Oristano. It is impossible to swim in it, but fishermen can find mullets, sea breams, sea bass, eels, clams and crabs here. It is also not difficult to spot pink flamingos.

The road that runs along the Marceddì and San Giovanni lagoons is a marvel to cycle on. It is mostly flat with some slight slopes, and you can admire lake landscapes on one side (with flamingos!) and mountain landscapes on the other. If you don't want to pass through the Pistis/Torre dei Corsari valleys, this flat route is equally fascinating!

This picturesque corner of nature is home to a variety of waterfowl species, making it an ideal place for wildlife lovers. Fishing dominates the local activities, and to savor the culinary delights of the area, I recommend exploring the nearby fish restaurants.

The cycle path is well maintained only within the town. Before Arborea it is completely covered with leaves and plants, which hide the not always perfect road. After Arborea, on the roads of agricultural penetration that lead towards Marceddì, it has basically disappeared, taken over by nature or mixed with the asphalt road.

Beautiful antique iron, once used for railway purposes. The road narrows and passes over the Tirso. Especially in Autumn and with the early morning lights it is very suggestive

You can get there by following the only road in Luri. In the square there is a public fountain with drinking water, and 200m behind a bar where you can rest.

Picturesque village in the Oristano bay. Positioned between two streams and on the banks of the San Giovanni pond, it gives habitat to numerous species of aquatic birds. Fishing is the main activity, and to eat look for a fish tourism in the area.

Municipality on the western coast of Sardinia, in the Iglesiente area. The municipality is linked to the mines of the area, in the most flourishing period of the mining era in Sardinia Buggerru was known as "little Paris" due to the wealth brought by the French managers of the mines in the area. The city is also sadly known for the events of 1904 when the army, called by the owners of the mines, opened fire on the miners who went on strike due to the inhumane conditions in which they were forced to work.
