The Fontana Moneta refuge has bedrooms, toilets and hot water. It is a perfect place to refresh and stay overnight. It is located near the Sintria stream and not far from the church of Sant'Andrea. The entire complex was carefully restored by the UOEI (Unione Operaia Escursionisti Italiani) section of Faenza, which preserved its original layout and architecture. If the original name, "Fontana Moneta", perhaps derives from the tax that the local lords made the poor people pay so that they could use the water fountain under the church, today the refuge is dedicated to Primo Peroni, one of the founders of the Group Speleologist from Faenza and pioneer of hiking in the Romagna Apennines, who passed away in 1978.

The Alpine Refuge "I Diacci" (941 m asl), immersed in the green beech forests of the upper Mugello on the crest of the Tuscan-Romagna Apennines, not far from the Sambuca Pass, is a perfect stop for trekking, Nordic walking, mountain biking and horseback riding.
