Cavo is a seaside resort, equipped with all the useful tourist services. Its large sandy beach extends to Capo Castello, where you can see the ruins of a Roman villa from the first century AD and beautiful cliffs that connect Capo Castello to Capo della Vita. The port, in addition to being one of the arrival points for ferries from the mainland, is equipped with water and fuel for pleasure boats.

The Conche lake, located on the plateau of Mount Calamita, can be reached via dirt paths that wind through coastal views and Mediterranean scrub. The lake, of artificial origin, was created during mining activities on Mount Calamita. The water has a characteristic reddish color due to the high concentration of ferrous minerals, residue of ancient iron extractions. This makes the place not only fascinating from a natural point of view, but also an interesting example of industrial archaeology.
