The Campolattaro Lake Oasis is one of the most important natural areas in Sannio, managed by the WWF and characterized by a large artificial lake surrounded by woods, pastures, and wetlands. It is an ideal habitat for wildlife observation: herons, night herons, birds of prey, and many migratory species find a resting place here during the transit seasons. The scenic viewpoints along the shore offer expansive views of the lake and the Tammaro hills.

A 19th-century stone bridge that, according to tradition, stands on the site of an ancient Roman bridge over which the famous Carthaginian leader Hannibal and his elephants crossed during his descent from the peninsula during the Second Punic War to hide his war booty on nearby Mount Cigno. The structure is 13 meters long, approximately 1.50 meters wide, and has a span of 9.15 meters.

We are in a dense forest exactly on the border between Molise and Campania. The vegetation is thick and it is a pleasure to cycle here. There is a forest refuge called 'La Casina'

The name Saepinum derives from the Latin and means to fence and therefore refers to the breeding activities practiced here at the time. It was conquered by the Romans in the Third Samnite War in 293 BC.

The dam dates back to 1980 and gives rise to a 7km square lake. The waters of the basin are used for irrigation and drinking purposes.

Sepino is a small town in Molise which is part of the circuit of the most beautiful villages in Italy. The medieval historic center is well preserved and it is possible to visit the church of Santa Cristina and the ducal palace. On the hills of the Tammaro valley there are several archaeological sites testifying to the ancient Samnite and Roman settlements.
