very beautiful path, rich in vegetation and very suggestive

The park is located within the massif of Mount Taburno in the Campanian Apennines in the province of Benevento. The highest peak of the massif is precisely Mount Taburno with its 1394 m a.s.l.

Here there are fir trees, even if the presence of beech is dominant and exclusive in the summits. The fir consists of 85% fir, while the remaining trees are always beech.

At about 1,160 meters above sea level there are the ruins of this Casermetta. This barracks was used by royalty during hunting trips, but it was also the shelter of several brigands (in fact it is also known as the Casina dei briganti). Going north-west you arrive at the Laiano paths.

Beautiful green area at the foot of Tuoro Verro (1,271 m) and Tuoro Alto (1,321 m). From here the whole valley extends to the west.
