Here the cycle path passes near the natural reserve of the "giants' pots", geological formations characterized by pools or circular cavities present in the river beds or rocky masses. These round pits are often created by the erosive action of water and sediment traveling at high speeds. The phenomenon occurs when debris such as pebbles or stones are dragged by the current and, circling, burrow into the rocky riverbed over time. These formations are called "giant kettles" because of their resemblance to giant pots carved into the rock. They are often observable in areas with rivers or streams characterized by strong currents.

The Cama lake is located at 1265 m. The lake remains frozen from around mid-November to the end of April, and is enclosed in a closed rocky basin downstream made up of the Piz d'Ugin and Piz de Cressim.

The Acquafraggia waterfalls (or Acqua Fraggia) are located in Borgonuovo and the parts visible from the road are the most suggestive, but not the only ones. The Acquafraggia basin is located at the western entrance to the Val Bregaglia. The stream of the same name originates from Pizzo di Lago at 3,050 meters above sea level, in an Alpine watershed from which rivers descend and flow into the North Sea, the Black Sea and the Mediterranean. Descending towards the valley floor, the stream runs through two suspended valleys, both of glacial origin, one at an altitude of two thousand and the other at a thousand meters above sea level. During its course, the Acquafraggia stream forms a series of waterfalls. These, the ones further down, are the most suggestive thanks to their double jump. In fact, the name Acquafraggia comes from the Latin "aqua fracta", indicating a stream continuously interrupted by waterfalls.

The current geomorphological aspect of the territory is the result of the erosive and modeling action of the glaciers. Numerous orographic terraces arranged at various altitudes on the entire left side of the Mera river are recognizable. Above the alluvial strip, the appearance is characterized by the elevation of some rocky ridges, by areas branching even with large boulders, by rocky walls, gorges, granite erratic boulders and by a watershed that separates the ridges from the lower slopes of the mountains . On the top of the sheepskin rocks, striated and smoothed, in the center and along the sides of the glacial valleys are the Marmitte dei Giganti, also called glacial wells, of very variable dimensions and shapes and contiguous to intercommunicating channels, basins and basins.
