The Schiazzera refuge is an excellent summer and early autumn refreshment point (in 2023 it is open until the third week of September, on weekends). There are tables where you can take a break while looking at the view or when it is open you can eat excellent dishes cooked by the volunteers who run the refuge. Very recommended as a point of passage or even of arrival (you can stay overnight, with reservation).

The Davide Bivouac is located at 2,645 meters near the Torsoleto Pass. From the bivouac the view spans 360 degrees over the mountains of Valtellina and Lake Picol to the north, and over the Brescia Pre-Alps and the Torsoleto Refuge to the south. The bivouac has everything needed to spend a night in the mountains: 12 beds, mattresses and blankets, a stove, crockery, table and chairs.
