The Volta lighthouse was built in 1927 following a project by the engineer Gabriele Giussani. It is located in the locality of San Maurizio in Brunate. The lighthouse was built with the aim of commemorating the centenary of the death of Alessandro Volta. From the lighthouse it is possible to admire splendid panoramic views.

The beginning of the Greenway is at the confluence of Via Cappella and Via Civetta in Colonno. You can get here by the C10 bus that connects the towns of Como and Colico by traveling all along the left side of Lake Como.

Most famous viewpoint of the Spina Verde Park. Its name, Pin Umbrela, is a toponym that derives from the old pine which, right in this point of the park, in the past allowed you to relax in its shade. Now the old pine is gone and has left room for other trees that with their branches overlook the lake from the balcony.
